Cartier Rotonde de Cartier – Haute Horlogerie Watches
Cartier is introducing three new complicated watches into its Fine Watchmaking Collection. This includes the Rotonde de Cartier Minute Repeater Mysterious Double Tourbillon, the Rotonde de Cartier Mysterious Hour Skeleton, and the Rotonde de Cartier Grande ComplicationSkeleton watch. All three timepieces are housed in an 18-carat pink gold case, while the matching crown incorporates the brand’s signature blue cabochon.
Rotonde de Cartier Minute Repeater Mysterious Double Tourbillon
The Rotonde de Cartier Minute Repeater Mysterious Double Tourbillon (Ref. WHRO0061) has a case diameter of 45 mm. The wearer can read the time with the help of off-centre 18-carat pink gold sword-shaped hands. Furthermore, the dial defies the norm by moving the minute repeater’s regulator (at 7 o’clock), hammer and gongs (either side of 6 o’clock) so that they are all visible from the front.
Powering the timepiece is Cartier’s manual-winding calibre 9507 MC with a minute repeater complication and the ‘Mysterious’ double tourbillon. Consisting of 448 parts, including 45 rubies, the movement has a power reserve of 84 hours and a frequency of 3 Hz. Additionally, the 9507 MC is certified with the Poinçon de Genève. Finally, the watch is a numbered limited edition of 20 pieces.

Seven pink gold skeletonized bridges forming Roman numerals help to display the time. Also, the open dial and caseback are protected by sapphire crystal.
Powering the model is the brand’s manual winding calibre 9983 MC. It has a total of 181 parts, including 27 rubies. Moreover, the movement has an 48-hour power reserve and a frequency of 4 Hz.

Finally, the 45 mm Rotonde de Cartier Grande ComplicationSkeleton (Ref. WHRO0065) showcases a satin-finish anthracite gray brass dial with gold sunray-effect appliqués. Unusually, the watch can be read using a range of different style hands. This includes 18-carat pink gold apple-shaped hour and minute hands, baton-shaped hands for the day and date, as well as hammer-shaped hands to indicate the month.
Meanwhile, the in-house skeletonised calibre 9506 MC incorporates a minute repeater, flying tourbillon, and perpetual calendar. The automatic movement, which is Poinçon de Genève certified, has no less than 578 parts, including 44 rubies. Moreover, it has a 50-hour power reserve and a frequency of 3 Hz. As with the other two models, it is also visible via the sapphire crystal caseback.
