The Geneva watch event at the Palexpo exhibition centre will take place from 14 to 20 April 2026, later than ever before.
This year’s Watches & Wonders, featuring 60 top brands, took place from 1 to 7 April and once again set a new visitor record with over 55,000 visitors (2024: 49,000). The organisers are not changing the concept: four days for trade visitors from 14 April 2026 will be followed by three days for the general public. Throughout the week, there will be events in Geneva city centre, many of which will take place outdoors. The organisers have not explained whether this was the reason for the postponement. In any case, it cannot be due to the Palexpo halls being fully booked, as the calendar on the website of the international exhibition and congress centre does not list any other events during this period.
Be that as it may, the date in the second half of April promises better weather, which will be particularly beneficial for the many outdoor activities on offer. ‘An even more ambitious programme will immerse all visitors in an incomparable watch experience. Innovation, the younger generation and the “In The City” animations will play an even greater role,’ promise the organisers. The participating brands and the complete programme will be announced soon.
