Jaquet Droz has its origins in 1738, when Pierre Jaquet-Droz established his workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds. He became renowned for both his watches and his spectacular automata, which captivated kings and princes across Europe in the 18^(th) century. Now part of the Swatch Group, the brand continues this heritage by combining craftsmanship, aesthetics, and mechanical ingenuity. The iconic Grande Seconde features an oversized seconds display arranged in a horizontal figure-of-eight layout. Models such as the Petite Heure Minute showcase artistic enamel and miniature painting, while the Automata collection continues the historic tradition of the brand with its animated scenes.
