Nomos Glashütte
Today, Nomos Glashütte is one of the most successful independent German watch manufacturers. The company was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner in Glashütte. Combining purist Bauhaus design with mechanical precision, the brand has produced almost all of its calibres in-house since 2005, including the innovative Swing System escapement. Key collections include the minimalist Tangente, the elegant Orion, the sporty Ahoi and the dynamic Club lines, while the Lambda and Lux collections showcase the highest level of craftsmanship. All of the watches are created in the historic Glashütte manufacture, where construction, assembly, regulation and finishing are carried out under one roof. With movements produced almost entirely on site, Nomos fulfils the protected designation of origin 'Glashütte'. Produced in small quantities and precisely regulated, its hand-wound and automatic movements unite tradition, technical innovation, and distinctive design.
