Trilobe

Gautier Massonneau founded Trilobe in Paris in 2018 with the aim of reinterpreting the display of time. Rather than using traditional hands, the brand employs rotating rings to indicate the hours, minutes and seconds, transforming the act of reading the time into a poetic experience and challenging traditional watchmaking conventions. The watches are produced in collaboration with renowned Swiss manufacturers, while the design and creative direction are distinctly French and marked by timeless elegance. The debut model, Les Matinaux, impressed with its minimalist design and innovative display featuring three concentric rings. With the Nuit Fantastique, Trilobe introduced an even more minimalist aesthetic, focusing on graphic clarity and spatial depth. In 2021, Trilobe unveiled its first complication, Une Folle Journée, in which the rings appear to float above the movement in three dimensions, creating a spectacle that is almost sculptural.
