Hublot Big Bang Integral

Hublot Big Bang Integral

Swiss manufacturer Hublot is introducing the Hublot Big Bang Integral. For the first time in the 15-year history of the Big Bang, this model features an integrated metal bracelet in which the first link is firmly attached to the case. The new timepiece is available in three versions: Titanium, King Gold or the limited edition ceramic All Black (500 pieces available).

The redesigned 42 mm case retains the “sandwich”-style construction and is largely based on existing models in the Big Bang collection. Aside from the crown, the watch is made entirely of titanium, King Gold or ceramic. The pushers, with their edges, bevels and alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, were the inspiration for the new bracelet.

With the Integral, Hublot launches the first Big Bang with an integrated bracelet. This bracelet is specially designed for the new watch. The sharp-edged style echoes the characteristics of the case, while the bracelet’s edges recall the pushers. A deployant folding clasp, matching the case material, secures the watch to the wrist.

By contrast, the dial and bezel are designed in the same way as previous Big Bang models. An exception is the indices instead of the Arabic numerals, which normally adorn a Big Bang. Through the partially skeletonized dial, the column wheel and the date ring (among other things) are visible. A small seconds hand is located at 9 o’clock, while a 60-minute counter is placed at three o’clock.

The HUB1280 calibre, specially designed by Hublot, is based on Hublot’s UNICO platform and consists of 354 components and 43 jewels. In addition to its automatic winding system, the Hublot Big Bang Integral offers a power reserve of three days. The chronograph features a horizontal double clutch mechanism, while its column wheel is visible on the dial side. The HUB1280 calibre also offers a flyback function.

The Hublot Big Bang Integral with an integrated metal bracelet is water-resistant to 100 m. The price for the titanium model is 20,700 euros while the King Gold costs 51,800 euros. The All Black is limited to 500 pieces and costs 22,700 euros.
