Doxa
Founded in Le Locle in 1889 by Georges Ducommun, Doxa takes its name from the Greek word for ‘glory’. In the early 20th century, the brand gained recognition with dashboard clocks, including those for Bugatti racing cars. Since the 1960s, however, Doxa has become synonymous with professional diving watches. In collaboration with diving pioneer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, the brand developed the Doxa Sub 300, launched in 1967, which introduced the orange dial as a defining design feature for dive watches. Models such as the Sub 200 and Sub 300T Clive Cussler continue this legacy, combining retro charm with modern technology. To this day, Doxa remains a cult name in the world of diving watches.
