Voutilainen
Finnish watchmaker Kari Voutilainen is one of the most respected figures in contemporary haute horlogerie. Having spent years restoring historic timepieces, he established his own workshop in Môtiers, Switzerland, in 2002. Only a few dozen watches are produced each year, each one entirely hand-crafted. Each is a unique work of art. Voutilainen is renowned for his intricately guilloché dials, finely engineered balance systems, and the exceptional quality of his watchmaking craftsmanship. Notable models include the Vingt-8, which features an innovative escapement in an in-house calibre, and the Observatoire, winner of an award at the 2007 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
