An overview of all winners of the GPHG 2025: The awarded watches, categories, and the technical highlights of this year’s competition.
Dior combines haute couture with mechanical watchmaking in its timepiece collections. Since entering watchmaking in 1975 with the Black Moon quartz watch, the Maison has emphasised the union of design and technical precision. The La D de Dior embodies feminine elegance, while the Chiffre Rouge introduces sporty, masculine accents and incorporates the brand’s first automatic mechanical calibres. Particular attention is given to the Grand Bal collection, in which the rotor rotates decoratively on the dial side, making the movement visible. The collection also draws on the unmistakable design codes of Dior’s ball gowns through the use of refined materials such as gold threads, silk, and feathers.
