Van Cleef Arpels
The world's oldest continuously operating watch manufacture, Vacheron Constantin was founded in Geneva in 1755, and for over 265 years has combined master craftsmanship with artistic refinement. The company is renowned for its intricate timepieces, including tourbillons, minute repeaters and perpetual calendars. It made history with watches such as the Reference 57260, the most complicated wristwatch ever made with 57 complications. Key collections include the elegant, minimalist Patrimony; the classically complicated Traditionnelle; the luxurious, sporty Overseas, designed for travellers; and the Métiers d’Art, which showcase artisanal crafts such as enamelling and engraving. In its Les Cabinotiers workshop, Vacheron Constantin creates unique pieces representing the pinnacle of its expertise. These range from artistically detailed timepieces to ultra-complex masterpieces such as the Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grande Complication – La Première, which features 41 complications, and the Berkley Grand Complication pocket watch, which took eleven years to develop and features the first perpetual Chinese calendar.
