Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet – Tourbillon Openworked Ref. 26600OR.OO.D002CR.01
The models of this new collection have a round case with an octagonal middle case embedded inside. The upper part of the openworked lugs is welded to the extra-thin bezel, while the lower part leans delicately against the caseback. The bezel, the lugs and the 41 mm case are satin-brushed, bevelled and polished.

The special aesthetic and functional focus of the collection Code 11.59 lays on the double curved glareproofed sapphire crystal, which impacts the watch’s design intensely. The glass’s internal surface is shaped like a dome, while its external surface is vertically curved from 6 to 12 o’clock. Its shape idealy integrates the extra-thin bezel and extends from edge to edge. As well it highlights the detailed work on the dial. The polished chamfer all around the glass adds the finishing touch.
Code 11.59 Tourbillon Openworked
The first model of the new collection is the Code 11.59 Tourbillon Openworked (Ref. 26600OR.OO.D002CR.01). The watch is driven by a hand-wound tourbillon openworked movement – the calibre 2948.

The model’s case is made of 18 Karat pink gold, which makes a contrast to the the dark openworked rhodium German silver mainplate and the PVD bridges, which have been exclusively designed for this collection, as well as the gold-toned balance. The 3D-effect of the 3.97 mm high mechanism is supported by 70 hand-polished V angles.

The dial of the Tourbillon Openworked also has a black lacquered inner bezel and hands made of 18 Karat pink gold.

The model’s strap is made of black alligator leather with a pink gold folding clasp. The power reserve is 80 hours.
Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon
Another model of the new collection is the Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon. This model is available either in pink gold with a black dial (Ref. 26396OR.OO.D002CR.01) or in white gold with a smoked blue dial (Ref. 26396BC.OO.D321CR.01). The dial of the flying tourbillon is covered with ‘Grand-Feu’-enamel and depending on the version made of gold or white gold. Due to the organic nature of the material and the hand-made manufacturing technique every enamel dial is unique. The applied indices and the hands of the pink gold model are made of pink gold as well and make a contrast to the black dial. The hands of the white gold model are also made of white gold. The Audemars Piguet signature is made in enamel. The inner bezel of both versions is lacquered black.

It is the first time at Audemars Piguet that a selfwinding movement features a central rotor and a flying tourbillon. The calibre 2950 – driving this model – is finished with ‘Côtes de Genève’, snailing and hand-polished bevels on the movement’s caseback side. The openworked oscillating weight—visible through the caseback—echoes the colour of the case. The oscillating weight comes in pink gold for the pink gold model, and in rhodium-toned pink gold for the white gold model. The movement is finished with circular graining and circular satin on the dial side.
