Earlier this month, to mark the introduction of H. Moser and Cie.’s new online sales platform, the family-run Swiss watch company has presented three new models: the H. Moser and Cie. Vantablack editions. Their colour? Completely black. Unusually, the dials are coated with Vantablack, the blackest black ever produced by artificial means. In fact, Vantablack absorbs almost all rays of light that hits it – 99.965%, to be precise. As a result, the dial is perceived as an absence of matter, similar to a black hole.

The new H. Moser and Cie. Venturer Vantablack Black Hands is available in two different sizes. The 39 mm edition is housed in a steel case, while the 43 mm version named Venturer Vantablack Black Hands XL is made from white gold. Finally, the Endeavour Tourbillon Vantablack Black Hands features a 42 mm steel case with a black DLC carbon coating. It also integrates a tourbillon into its movement. The model is presented on a black alligator strap.

The trio’s minimalist dials are left bare, displaying neither indices nor the brand’s logo. However, the crowns are adorned with the letter ‘M’. Additionally, the hands are also black. The timepieces’ dials are protected by a domed sapphire crystal on the case front and flat sapphire crystal on the caseback, allowing for the movement to be observed.
