OMEGA De Ville Trésor Co-Axial Master Chronometer Power Reserve 40 mm
OMEGA is introducing the De Ville Trésor Power Reserve, the first variation in a series of new Trésor models. The new editions will be available with various material and colour combinations. For example, some will only have a small seconds, while others will also feature a power reserve indicator. The latter can be found on the first model [below], which has a classic gold case and offers a METAS-certified movement with manual winding.
Yellow gold case
The De Ville Trésor Power Reserve comes in an 18-carat yellow gold case with a diameter of 40 mm. With an overall height of 10.07 mm, it is also extremely slender. A crown bearing the OMEGA logo complements the fully polished case. In addition, a domed box sapphire crystal protects the front.
The crystal silver dial of the Trésor Power Reserve
The crystal silver dial of the Trésor Power Reserve is also domed. The applied indices and the minute hand in 18-carat gold follow this shape. A new feature is the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, which complements the small seconds at 6 o’clock. Due to the arrangement of the sub-dials, the OMEGA logo moves to 3 o’clock. On the opposite side at 9 o’clock is the “CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER” lettering.
The calibre 8935 powers the Trésor Power Reserve
OMEGA uses its own calibre 8935 with manual winding. It has two barrels that together provide a power reserve of 72 hours. The movement with Co-Axial escapement has a silicon hairspring that beats at a frequency of 3.5 Hz. In addition, the watch bears the METAS certificate, which guarantees resistance to magnetic fields, among other things. Finally, the manufacture decorates the movement with Geneva strip arabesques and blackened screws. OMEGA has also installed a balance bridge made of 18-carat Sedna gold.
The OMEGA De Ville Trésor Power Reserve comes on a grey leather strap with an 18-carat gold buckle. The watch will be available in stores from September 2021 and will cost 17,100 euros.
