Montblanc
The story of Montblanc began in Hamburg in 1906, when the company was founded as a manufacturer of high-quality writing instruments. In 1997, Montblanc ventured into watchmaking. Today, the brand produces watches in both Le Locle and Villeret, the latter of which is home to the former Minerva manufacture that Montblanc acquired in 2006. By combining German design culture with Swiss watchmaking expertise, Montblanc has secured a firm place in the luxury watch market. The Star Legacy collection embodies classical elegance, while the sporty TimeWalker line draws inspiration from motorsport. The 1858 collection, which reinterprets historic Minerva pilot’s watches and often features bronze cases and vintage appeal, is particularly sought-after. Models powered by Minerva chronograph movements are regarded as technical highlights, firmly establishing Montblanc as a leading watch manufacturer.
