Parmigiani Fleurier is introducing a new line of Tonda watches; Tonda GT. This includes not only the automatic Tonda GT models, but also the Tondagraph GTAcier. The automatic Tondagraph GTAcier watch provides both an annual calendar and a chronograph function. It is a limited edition of 200 pieces.
Firstly, the complicated timepiece has a 42 mm stainless-steel case, with a height of 13.7 mm, and features a fluted bezel. The watch is water-resistant to 100 m and is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both the front and caseback.
Secondly, the black dial of the Tondagraph GTAcier features “clou triangulaire” guilloché finishing. As is the case with the Tonda GT, the Delta-shaped hands are skeletonised. Furthermore, they have a luminescent coating for 24/7 readability, as do rhodium-plated appliqués. Additionally, aside from displaying hours and minutes, the watch’s annual calendar shows the month in orange at 3 o’clock (along with arched small seconds), while a big date aperture (also in orange) is at 12 o’clock. The remaining two subdials at 6 and 9 o’clock are for the chronograph function.
Thirdly, the case comes with a matching integrated bracelet with a folding clasp, or an alternative black rubber strap (featuring the same clasp). It attaches to the watch with the help of teardrop lugs.
Powering the watch is the PF043 automatic calibre, which features an annual calendar, chronograph, big date and small seconds. The movement has a 45-hour power reserve and beats at a frequency of 4 Hz. Furthermore, it showcases Côtes de Genève stripes via the sapphire crystal caseback. Notably, the calibre has a total of 443 components and 56 jewels.
Finally, the watch costs 19,500 euros with the integrated stainless-steel bracelet (PFC906-0000210-B00182), or 18,500 euros with the integrated rubber strap (PFC906-0000210-X01482).
