Omega Seamaster Diver 300M: New Special Editions In Bronze Gold And Burgundy Red
This year, Omega is expanding its Seamaster Diver 300M collection with two new models in Bronze Gold. These special editions combine the exclusive material with the design of the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. The watches feature a case made from the brand’s bronze-gold alloy as well as a dial and bezel made from anodised aluminium. They are powered by the Master Co-Axial calibre 8806.
Case
The case of the new Seamaster Diver 300M models is made from Omega’s special bronze-gold alloy. It contains 37.5 per cent 9K gold as well as palladium and silver, which gives it high corrosion resistance without verdigris oxidation. As a result, the alloy retains its patina over a longer period of time and only ages slowly, adding to the 42 mm case a beautiful aesthetic. The bezel also features an anodised aluminium ring in burgundy red with a diver’s scale made of Vintage Super-LumiNova. The domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire crystal caseback provides a view of the movement decorated with Côtes de Genève. The water resistance is 30 bar (300 metres).
Dial
The models’ dial is made of sandblasted aluminium in matt black. The hands are made of PVD-coated 18K Bronze Gold, while the indexes are blackened. All elements are filled with Vintage Super-LumiNova, which ensures good readability in low light conditions. The Omega logo and name are transferred to the dial in light brown. The contrast between the black dial and the bronze-coloured elements gives the watch a sophisticated look.
Movement
The new Seamaster Diver 300M models house the Omega Master Co-Axial Calibre 8806, an automatic movement with a power reserve of 55 hours and a frequency of 25,200 A/h (3.5 Hz). It is equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, which reduces friction as well as wear and tear. In addition, the silicon balance spring ensures high magnetic resistance. The movement is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, which guarantees high precision and reliability.
Strap
There are two different strap options available for the new Seamaster Diver 300M models. The first one is a brushed bronze-gold Milanaise bracelet with a folding clasp. The second option offers a sportier look with an integrated black rubber strap with a bronze-gold buckle. Both straps are extremely comfortable to wear and perfectly round off the design of the watch.
Price and Availability
The new Seamaster Diver 300M editions in Bronze Gold are now available. The price for the version with a Milanaise bracelet is 30,500 euros, while the version with a rubber strap costs 15,200 euros.
