TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph with a Pink Dial: A Bold New Addition
TAG Heuer has unveiled a new variation of the Monaco Chronograph, showcasing a pink colour scheme that draws inspiration from the vibrant atmosphere of Las Vegas. This watch features a skeleton dial and is powered by the in-house Calibre Heuer 02. Let’s take a closer look at the details of this timepiece.
Case
The new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph comes with a 39mm case crafted from lightweight Grade 2 titanium with a black DLC coating. This choice of material ensures durability while providing exceptional wearing comfort. Retaining its signature square shape, the case’s black details create a striking contrast against the vibrant pink dial. With a water resistance of 10 bar (~100 metres), it is perfectly suited for everyday wear.
The Pink Dial of the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph
The pink, skeletonised dial is undoubtedly the centrepiece of this new Monaco edition. A pink chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock, a small seconds display at 6 o’clock, and a pink lacquered chronograph hour counter at 9 o’clock evoke the vibrant energy and dazzling lights of Las Vegas. These vivid accents cater to individuals who express their personality through bold style. Prominent hour markers and black-gold hour and minute hands enhance the skeletonised design, offering a dynamic and eye-catching aesthetic. Completing the dial is a date window at 6 o’clock, which glows with a bright blue Super-LumiNova coating in low light.
Movement
At the heart of the watch lies TAG Heuer’s in-house Calibre Heuer 02 automatic movement. Renowned for its precision and reliability, this chronograph calibre is visible through the skeletonised dial. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the column wheel at 12 o’clock and the oscillating mass, both adorned with pink accents. With an impressive power reserve of 80 hours, the movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
Strap
The strap combines leather and rubber, striking a balance between style and functionality. This versatile pairing ensures the watch appeals to wearers with varied lifestyles. The clasp, finished with black DLC coating, complements the case perfectly.
