TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Fragment Limited Edition: Minimalism meets precision
TAG Heuer and Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of the cult streetwear label fragment, continue their design partnership with a new Carrera that combines minimalism and precision. The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Fragment Limited Edition brings the iconic racing design of 1963 into the present day with clear forms, contrasting details and the unmistakable signature of the fragment founder.
A new chapter in the creative partnership
For the third time, TAG Heuer and Hiroshi Fujiwara are combining their respective expertise for a joint watch project. Following two successful collaborations, the partnership returns to the legendary Carrera and brings one of the most extraordinary interpretations of the chronograph that the brand has ever produced. Fujiwara, often referred to as the ‘Godfather of Streetwear,’ brings not only fashion instinct but also a deep passion for mechanical watches. For him, the essence of the design was at the forefront of this edition: “Every detail must earn its place. Nothing is added unless there is a reason to do so,” says Fujiwara.
The case and strap
The 39-millimetre stainless steel case combines polished and finely brushed surfaces. The curved sapphire glass with double anti-reflective coating ensures maximum transparency and a harmonious design. The screw-in sapphire glass case back, which is engraved with a limited and numbered special engraving, provides a view of the movement. The water resistance is 100 metres. The model is worn on a seven-piece stainless steel bracelet that features the typical TAG Heuer “Beads-of-Rice” structure. The central links are in black PVD and provide a clear contrast to the stainless steel surface.
The dial and movement
The black opaline dial embodies Fujiwara’s minimalist design philosophy. The white bezel, as well as the silver hour markers and counters, clearly stand out against the dial. The three sub-dials follow the functional logic of a classic chronograph: the minute counter is at 3 o’clock, the small seconds at 6 o’clock and the hour counter at 9 o’clock. All three are in black opal and feature rhodium-plated rings. The fragment-blitz symbol can be found discreetly on the date disc at 12 o’clock. Inside, the in-house calibre TH20-00 beats: an automatic chronograph movement with 80 hours of power reserve. It is equipped with a column wheel, a vertical clutch and a bidirectional winding mechanism.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Fragment Limited Edition is limited to 500 pieces. It will be available in December 2025 at a price of 9,000 euros. It is delivered in a black box with a debossed case that reflects the design concept of the timepiece.
