The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Gets a New White Gold Case
The Geneva-based manufacture Vacheron Constantin is presenting a new version of the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar with a case in 18-carat white gold. Previously, the watch was only available in rose gold or as the Excellence Platine Edition with a platinum case. This new Traditionnelle Complete Calendar comes with a slate grey dial that accommodates a full calendar. The Geneva Hallmarked movement is perfectly visible through the case back. Last but not least, the watch appears on a black alligator strap with a buckle in the shape of a half Maltese cross.
The Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Now Has a White Gold Case
The case of the Traditionelle Complete Calendar measures 41 mm in diameter and 10.7 mm in height. It is now made of 18-carat white gold. The round case has a narrow bezel and an easy-grip crown bearing the brand’s cross. There are also several pushers on the flanks that are responsible for advancing the displays. The fluted case back also has a window that offers a view inside. The watchmakers specify the water resistance as 3 bar or 30 metres.
Slate Grey Dial With Velvet Finish
The slate-grey velvet-look dial has hour markers in white gold. At 12 o’clock, the Maltese cross is also applied. The time is indicated by two faceted hands in the Dauphine style on a classic railway minute track. The manufacture also accommodates a full calendar on the dial of the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar. The date has its own hand with a crescent moon tip. The days of the week and the months, however, can be found in the windows on the edge of the dial. This leaves more space for the moon phase display at 6 o’clock, which also indicates the age of the moon.
In-house Movement With Full Calendar
Inside the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar is the in-house calibre 2460 QCL/1, which has automatic winding and a power reserve of 40 hours. It also operates at a frequency of 4 hertz. However, the calibre not only drives the hands, it also enables the calendar and the moon phase display. The latter only needs to be corrected every 122 years. Last but not least, the watch has been awarded the strict Geneva hallmark. The 22-carat gold oscillating weight, which is shaped like a Maltese cross, and the circular-grained baseplate and chamfered bridges with a Geneva stripe motif also speak for the high standard.
Price & Availability of the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar
The watch comes on a black strap made of Mississippiensis alligator leather. The white gold buckle is in the shape of a half Maltese cross. Complementing the rose gold and platinum versions, this Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar is available now. The price is 40,500 euros.
