The Case of The Big Bang Unico Essential Grey is Satin-Finished Titanium

The watch measures 42 mm in diameter with a height of 14.5 mm. On the back, the case back allows a view of the mechanics and the limitation number can also be found here. The water resistance of this model is 10 bar or 100 metres.
The Dial Reveals The Mechanics
On the front of the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey, the watchmakers continue the monochrome design. The applied indices and numerals are visible through the sapphire crystal, but above all the open dial reveals the mechanics. On the periphery, a minute track winds around the centre, which also has a satin finish. The large main hands show the time and have luminous material to ensure readability even in the dark. At 9 o’clock is a small seconds and opposite at 3 o’clock is a 60-minute totaliser. The latter also integrates the date window.
The Movement Offers a Chronograph With Flyback
Hublot equips the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey with the HUB1280 manufacture calibre. The movement on top of the in-house base consists of 354 components with 42 jewels. It offers automatic winding and a power reserve of 72 hours. The chronograph integrates both a column wheel and a horizontal double clutch. These components are on the dial side are thus visible in action. In addition, the timepiece offers a flyback function. This allows the time measurement to be restarted by pressing just one pusher. In terms of finishing, the manufacture holds back in favour of a minimalist look. The movement does have matt surfaces and is also equipped with a skeletonised rotor.
