On the periphery, a minute track winds around the centre, which also has a satin finish. The large main hands show the time and have luminous material to ensure readability even in the dark. At 9 o’clock is a small seconds and opposite at 3 o’clock is a 60-minute totaliser. The latter also integrates the date window.

Hublot equips the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey with the HUB1280 manufacture calibre. The movement on top of the in-house base consists of 354 components with 42 jewels. It offers automatic winding and a power reserve of 72 hours. The chronograph integrates both a column wheel and a horizontal double clutch.
