Panerai is introducing a new piece to its Luminor collection: the Luminor Marina 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition (PAM01122). Moreover, the new model comes with a 70-year warranty.

Case and Material
The 44 mm case of the PAM01122 uses sandblasted DMLS titanium. DMLS stands for “Direct Metal Laser Sintering”, and is 3D printing process which involves titanium powder being sintered by a laser. Moreover, it has beneficial properties including a light weight and resistance to corrosion. Furthermore, the case’s titanium bezel and Safety Lock crown have a rubberised coating, while the screwed caseback with a DLC coating contributes to the model’s water-resistance to 300 m. Also, the caseback includes an engraving depicting the silhouette of free-diver and Panerai ambassador Guillaume Néry.
Dial of the Guillaume Néry Edition
The minimalist model’s black dial with dégradé effect uses the brand’s typical “sandwich” structure. Both the indices and hands use white Super-LumiNova, which glows green at night. As well as displaying hours, a seconds subdial lies at 9 o’clock. Meanwhile, the date window is located at 3 o’clock.
Movement
Powering the Luminor Marina 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition is the self-winding calibre P.9010. The in-house movement has a three-day power reserve thanks to its two barrels, and beats at a frequency of 4 Hz. Additionally, it consists of 200 components and 31 jewels. Despite providing hours, minutes, small seconds and a date function, the entire movement measures only 6 mm in height. Price: 19,000 euros.
The Luminor Marina 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition is available exclusively in Panerai boutiques. It comes with a black recycled PET strap with white stitching and pin buckle, as well as a white rubber strap with glow-in-the-dark lettering. Price: 19,000 euros.
