Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar: Two Sides of The Same Coin
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar has a reversible case that houses two dials. The main dial offers a full calendar with moon phases, while the back features a second time zone with day/night display. The watch appears in stainless steel on the one hand and, as an elegant alternative, with a pink gold case. Both come on leather straps made by the Argentinian manufacturer Casa Fagliano that can be swapped via the quick-change system.
Case
The Maison is presenting both a stainless steel and an 18-carat red gold case. Both measure 49.4 mm in length and 29.9 mm in width. In keeping with the design of the original Reverso from 1931, there are triple bevels both above and below the dial. Otherwise, the watch is completely polished. The elongated case slopes down to the lugs. There are two additional pushers around the crown, which are responsible for advancing the calendar displays. The water resistance is 3 bar.
Dial
The stainless steel model has a silver-coloured dial with a grained surface. It features two main hands, applied indices and a railway minute track. There is also a full calendar with the day of the week, month and date. The moon phase display is also integrated here. On the back of the reversible case, a second blue dial with a sunburst finish is revealed. It shows the current time in a second time zone. The hour indices are now outside the minute track and have a new look. There is also a day/night indicator at 6 o’clock.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar in pink gold has a silver-coloured main dial with a sunburst finish. The indices and hands here are also made of the precious metal and the moon in the display at 6 o’clock also appears in the warm tone. The back reveals the second dial in grey with a sunburst finish. Here, too, the double indices and the hands are made of red gold. The sun and moon in the lower half of the dial are in the same colour.
Movement
The 853 movement inside the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar is an in-house calibre that has been in service since 2016. It is wound by hand and offers a maximum power reserve of 42 hours. The shape of this movement is distinctive, as it was specially developed for the Reverso and thus fits perfectly into the case with its elongated shape. The manufacture decorates the mechanism with bevelled edges, recessed jewels, mirror-polished screws and bridges with Geneva stripes – although it remains hidden inside the watch.
Straps
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar appears on calfskin straps that are the work of the Argentinian manufacturer Casa Fagliano. The shoemaker is most famous for its polo boots, which the house handcrafts since over a hundred years. The stainless steel model comes with a deep blue strap that secures with a folding clasp. In contrast, the elegant red gold model appears on a brown strap with a traditional pin buckle. In addition, each timepiece comes with another strap made of leather and fabric. Using the quick-change system, these can be changed easily and without tools.

The two models are available now. The Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar ref. Q3918420 in stainless steel costs 16,100 euros. The rose gold version, ref. Q3912530, costs 29,800 euros.
