Zenith expands its Chronomaster Sport collection with a new gemstone-set white gold model. The Chronomaster Sport Rainbow merges the functionality of a chronograph with the luxury of a colourful gemstone-set bezel. Following the rose gold version launched last year, this watch showcases Zenith’s mastery in blending fine watchmaking with exquisite gem-setting.
Case
The case of the Zenith Chronomaster Sport Rainbow is crafted from 18-carat white gold, measuring 41 mm in diameter. Its bezel is adorned with 50 baguette-cut gemstones, including 40 sapphires (~ 3.9 carats) and 10 diamonds (~ 1 carat), forming a striking rainbow colour gradient. This unique “rainbow” bezel adds a lively and opulent touch to the design. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 metres) and features a sapphire case back, offering a glimpse of the movement within.
Dial
The dial is lacquered in deep black and features Zenith’s signature overlapping tri-colour sub-dials positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Rainbow-hued sapphire hour markers are set against the black backdrop, adding a vivid contrast. The hour and minute hands are rhodium-plated, faceted, and coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low light. A discreet date window is located at 4:30.
Movement
Powering the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow is the El Primero 3600, a high-frequency automatic chronograph movement. Operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), it enables tenth-of-a-second precision, with the central chronograph hand completing one full rotation every 10 seconds. The bi-directional automatic winding mechanism provides a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Visible through the sapphire case back are the blued column wheel and Zenith’s signature star-shaped rotor.
Bracelet
The watch is paired with an integrated, three-link bracelet crafted from white gold, featuring a blend of brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet is secured with a double-folding safety clasp.
