Zenith
Zenith’s origins date back to 1865, when Georges Favre-Jacot founded one of the first vertically integrated watch manufactures in Le Locle. His revolutionary idea of bringing all watchmakers under one roof laid the foundation for industrial progress in Swiss watchmaking. In the first half of the 20th century, Zenith established itself as a producer of precision timekeepers, winning numerous chronometry prizes. The brand is best known for the El Primero, introduced in 1969 as the first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, still considered among the most precise of its kind. The Chronomaster collection continues to showcase this calibre in modern iterations. Zenith also offers sporty watches such as the futuristic Defy and the aviation-inspired Pilot line.
