Amongst several others, Zenith used LVMH Watch Week in Dubai to introduce two new unisex models to its Elite Collection in the form of an Elite Classic and Elite Moonphase. Both are housed in 40.5mm (18-carat rose-gold or stainless-steel) cases that are water-resistant to 50m, and are presented on blue, brown or grey alligator leather straps.
The redesigned Elite Classic model is made in a choice of: stainless steel (Ref. 03.3100.670/02.C922) with a blue sunray dial or rose gold with a silver tone sunray dial (Ref. 18.3100.670/01.C920). Elsewhere, the Moonphase comes in either stainless steel with grey sunray dial (Ref. 03.3100.692/03.C923), or rose gold with a silver sunray dial (Ref. 18.3100.692/01.C922). The models also display a sunray dial for the first time.
Zenith have added the graphic, stamped sunray dial to every watch within the revamped Elite collection. The dials are adorned with sizeable faceted applied indices and long dauphine hands to improve legibility.
The restyled Elite Classic model is powered by the self-winding calibre Elite 670 SK, which offers a 48-hour power reserve and now includes a silicon lever and escape wheel. It is equipped with a central hour, minute and seconds hand, as well a date window situated at 6 o’clock.
Meanwhile, the Elite Moonphase model is equipped with a small seconds hand (located at 9 o’clock), as well as a central hour and minute hand. The updated model is powered by the in-house, ultra-thin calibre Elite 692, also offering a power reserve of 48 hours. The moon phase is adjusted by the crown and is situated at 6 o’clock.
