Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons
Lucerne-based manufacture Carl F. Bucherer is introducing a new edition of its COSC-certified Patravi chronograph: the Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons. Four brightly coloured versions are available – including a yellow (summer), orange (autumn), green (spring), and or blue (winter) watch.
Notably, the Patravi watch has a large case diameter of 46.6 mm, and a 15.5 mm height. Furthermore, the stainless-steel case is equipped with a screw-down crown, helping to ensure water-resistance to 50 m. Additionally, the colour of the crown matches the colour code of the watch.
Meanwhile, the bright dials of the latest Patravi TravelTec watches feature two chronograph counters, a small-seconds subdial, a date display, plus central hour and minute hands. Furthermore, the date indication is magnified, making it easily legible at a glance. Additionally, all four versions of the Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons come on a coloured rubber strap to match the dial.
The movement
Powering the Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons is the in-house CFB 1901 movement. The COSC-certified automatic calibre offers a chronograph function, a time zone function, plus date, hour, minute, and small seconds. Moreover, it has a 42-hour power reserve and beats at a frequency of 4 Hz.
Furthermore, the calibre powering the Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons combines its chronograph function with the time zone mechanism, which displays the time in three different time zones at once. This patented mechanism involved Carl F Bucherer’s watchmakers integrating part of the time zone mechanism into the case of the watch. Furthermore, the mechanism required for selecting the corresponding time zone can be geared in two directions – east and west, or with and against time – via a single monopusher. The wearer can observe this in action via a window on the side of the case. Finally, the second two time zones are in 24-hour format, helping the traveller to differentiate between day and night.
Finally, all four versions of the Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons come on a matching rubber strap with stitching. The watch is water-resistant to 50 m, and all of the four versions have the same price – 9.300 euros.
