Sinn 903 Ti II Jubiläum: New Navigation Chronograph to Mark The Brands 65th Anniversary

For 65 years, Sinn Spezialuhren from Frankfurt has stood for technical precision and functional design. To mark its anniversary, the Frankfurt-based brand is now launching a special model that deliberately references its own history: The 903 Ti II Jubiläum is limited to 500 pieces and references the design of the navigation chronograph that Sinn once presented for its 35th anniversary, but the iconic appearance is now combined with noticeable design and material enhancements.

Case & Technology

The 41-mm-case underscores the technical sophistication of this timepiece. Sinn has opted for high-strength Grade 5 titanium, combined with polished and satin-finished surfaces. However, the decisive innovation lies in the operation of the rotating bezel with internal scale. Thanks to DSP technology, the rotating bezel can be operated directly on the outer diameter without compromising water resistance. The watch is water-resistant to 20 bar and also pressure-resistant.

Dial

Visually, the 903 Ti II Jubiläum features a dark blue, galvanised dial with a sunburst finish. The logarithmic slide rule allows for navigation calculations, such as times, distances or currency conversions. The totalisers are arranged in a Tricompax layout, with their counter circles electroplated with rhodium. For night-time readability, Sinn uses hand-applied hybrid ceramic luminescent elements: the indices, the ‘12’ and the hour and minute hands feature these elements, in which the luminous pigments are integrated directly into the ceramic moulded part.

Movement

The anniversary edition is powered by the LJP L112 calibre with automatic winding, 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour and a seconds stop; the movement is also anti-magnetic in accordance with DIN 8309 and offers a power reserve of at least 60 hours. The movement is visible through a sapphire crystal case back.

Strap, price and availability

The 903 Ti II Jubiläum is delivered in a double case including a brown horse leather strap and a delicate solid titanium strap, along with a strap changing tool, spare spring bars and a brochure. The price is €3,980.00 including VAT.
