Audemars Piguet is introducing five new Royal Oak models, all with green dials. In addition to a “Jumbo” with a platinum case, the manufacture is launching a Selfwinding Chronograph with a gold case and three Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon models. With the exception of the “Jumbo”, all of these watches are strictly limited – in some cases to less than 15 pieces.
Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin with Platinum Case and Green Dial
The Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin is housed in the 39 mm case of the “Jumbo” series. This time, however, it is made of 950 platinum, as is the integrated bracelet. With a case height of only 8.1 mm, the watch lives up to its “Extra-Thin” label. Furthermore, this is the the first time that a “Jumbo” is featuring a green dial. The smoky green dial with sunburst finish has applied indexes and Royal Oak hands in white gold.
The automatic manufacture calibre 2121 ticks away inside the watch. It offers a power reserve of 40 hours as well as a date function. Additionally, the movement with a 22-carat gold oscillating weight can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. Finally, the watch is available exclusively in the company’s boutiques. Price: 105,300 euros.

Meanwhile, the new Selfwinding Chronograph comes with a 41 mm case made of 18-carat yellow gold. The green “Grande Tapisserie” dial has a 30-minute and 12-hour counter and a small seconds at 6 o’clock. There is also a date window at 4:30 o’clock.
Beneath the solid caseback is the calibre 2385, with automatic winding and a power reserve of 40 hours. The chronograph integrates a column wheel, which ensures smooth operation. In addition to the gold bracelet, the manufacturer supplies two additional straps made of green calfskin and green rubber. Unsurprisingly, the watch a limited edition of 125 pieces. Price: 74,700 euros.
Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon with Green Dial
Audemars Piguet is also expanding the Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon range with three new editions featuring green “Evolutive Tapisserie” dials. Two of them appear with a 41 mm case made of titanium. They have applied indexes and hands in white gold with a luminous coating. However, the two models differ when it comes to the bezel. While one comes with a plain bezel, the second model has an 18-carat white-gold bezel set with 32 baguette-cut emeralds (~2.41 carats). Both watches are strictly limited – the former to 50 pieces (139,100 CHF), the latter to 15 pieces (273,000 CHF).
Audemars Piguet is also introducing a Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon with an 18-carat pink gold case. The indices and hands, as well as the Audemars Piguet signature and the tourbillon cage, are all in the same shade. This watch is also limited. As a result, only 10 pieces will be available worldwide. Price: 170,000 CHF.
