The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar white ceramic offers a slim case which nonetheless houses a complete perpetual calendar. The 41 mm caseis made of white ceramic. Furthermore, the watch is equipped with non-reflective sapphire crystal on the front and back.

The blue dial of this modelis decorated with a ‘Grand-Tapisserie’ motif. The model has silvered counters, applied indices and the typical Royal-Oak-hands made of white gold and covered with luminescent coating. At the rim of the watch a blue flange is situated.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar White Ceramic is driven by the automatic calibre 5134, which is based on its predecessor, the calibre 2120, and has been revised due to the larger case size of 41 mm. The 4.31 mm high mechanism was made of 374 individual pieces and is visible through the watch’s case back. The skeletonized rotor winds in both directions. The calibre offers a power reserve of 40 hours.

A special feature of this Royal Oak is the perpetual calendar. Other than that the new model has a flying spring house und a moon phase indication, which has been applied with micro structuring and has to be corrected only every 122 years and 108 days.
The watch’s bracelet is, like the case, made of white ceramic and is equipped with a AP folding clasp made of titanium. The price for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar in white ceramic (ref. 26579CB.OO.1225CB.01) is 94.500 Euro.
