Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Grey: Third Edition of the Annual Special Edition
Hublot launches the third iteration of the Essential Grey series, which this time includes two Classic Fusion models. The Essential Grey series features a model each year that Hublot completely dresses in grey. The respective model is available exclusively online and is aimed at Hublot enthusiasts. The Essential Grey series previously included the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey, followed by the Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey. Now, two Classic Fusion models follow, reflecting Hublot’s return to the roots of the brand. These watches differ in case sizes of 45 mm and 42 mm and are available exclusively online.
Case
The Classic Fusion Essential Grey is available in two sizes: 42 mm and 45 mm. Both models feature a titanium case that is both satin-finished and polished. The case thickness varies depending on the model: 10.4 mm for the 42 mm version and 10.95 mm for the 45 mm version. The choice of material not only gives the watch fascinating lightness but also embodies the essence of Hublot. Additionally, there is a satin-finished bezel with six H-shaped screws. Both models are water-resistant to a depth of 50 metres.
Dial
The dial of the Classic Fusion Essential Grey stands out with its grey sunray finish, which displays different nuances depending on the angle of the light. It is simple and purist, featuring three central hands and geometric indices. Nevertheless, there is a discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position.
Movement
The Classic Fusion Essential Grey is equipped with two different movements, each tailored to the size of the case. The 42 mm version is powered by the calibre HUB1110, while the 45 mm version houses the calibre HUB1112. Both movements are based on the automatic Sellita SW300 and feature a Hublot rotor. They operate at a frequency of 4 Hz and offer a power reserve of 42 hours.
Strap
The strap of the Classic Fusion Essential Grey is made of grey rubber with a grey fabric overlay. The stainless steel folding clasp ensures a secure fit and completes the design. The integrated strap is another characteristic element of the Classic Fusion line and represents the modern character of the brand.
Price and Availability of the Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Grey
The watches are available exclusively online, but not explicitly limited. Both variants are priced at 8,800 euros.
