As well the end-of-the-month cam has been integrated to the date wheel, while the month cam has been combined to the month wheel.
Also, the new model’s blue, satin-brushed dial, which is visible behind glare-proofed sapphire crystal, has been adapted: The small dials showing the day of the week, the date and the month have been amplified to guarantee a better readability. The day and night indication was placed at 8 o’clock – symmetrical to the leap year indication at 4 o‘clock. The applied hour-markers and the typical Royal Oak hands were made of white gold and coated with a luminescent layer, allowing the watch to be read easily in darkness.
