The 25th James Bond film “No Time To Die” will most likely be Daniel Craig’s last role as secret agent 007. Just as the trailer of the new agent-adventure has been released, OMEGA unveils the new timepiece that will be worn by James Bond in the film: The Seamaster Diver 300M “007” Edition.
The actor has played a major role during the concept of the new timepiece. Hence, the 42 mm case and mesh bracelet have been crafted from Grade 2 Titanium, as Craig decided that a military man like 007 needed a real lightweight watch for his missions.
To further decrease the weight, the bezel ring and dial are made of brown aluminum, a hue that is called ‘trobical’. The diving scale, blackened hands and indexes have been coated in vintage-style Super-LumiNova. A ‘Broad Arrow Symbol’ is printed above the 6 o’clock position, a feature that we usually only find on military watches.
On the caseback, you’ll find a series of numbers, which are also military inspired: ‘0552’ is the code-number specified for Navy personnel, with ‘923 7697’ being the number of a divers’ watch. The letter ‘A’ is a code used to signify a watch with a screw-in crown, while ‘007’ is James Bond’s iconic agent number. Finally, the number ‘62’ is the year of the very first James Bond film.
Inside, it is driven by the METAS-certified manufacture movement caliber 8806, which fulfills the industry’s highest standards of precision, chronometric performance and magnetic resistance. The same movement that already runs inside the Seamaster Diver 300M Black Ceramic.
The new Bond watch will be available in OMEGA Boutiques from February 2020 and is not limited. It will be available in a titanium mesh bracelet, or on a striped NATO strap in dark brown, grey and beige. Price: 7.700 euros with NATO strap and 8.600 euros with Mesh bracelet.

With barely 40 years under its belt, Hublot is a fairly young watch brand. Despite this, it is by no means lacking in self-confidence in an industry where many of the biggest horology houses have a history that stretches back a good 150 years or more. Hublot’s self-assurance is at least partly due to the…
