Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Memovox Timer: Alarm Function in Pink Gold
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Memovox Timer presents itself in a pink gold case that is combined with a black and grey dial. The watch offers an alarm function that can be set to a fixed time as well as used as a timer. This generation also has a see-through case back, which makes the striking mechanism visible. The Master Control Memovox Timer is released as a limited edition of 100 pieces, available exclusively in the brand’s boutiques.
The Case is in Pink Gold
The watch has a 40 mm rose gold case. The height is 12.39 mm. This Master Control Memovox Timer features a bevelled bezel that flows into both polished and satin-finished surfaces. The case terminates into curved lugs and has two crowns on the side, both bearing the brand logo. The crown at two o’clock is used to set the alarm function, while the lower one winds the movement and sets the time. On the back, the sapphire crystal case back allows a view inside the watch. The water resistance is up to 5 bar or 50 metres.
The New Grey And Black Dial Highlights The Alarm Function
The dial is characterised by multiple circular shapes. On the one hand, the applied indices and numerals reside on a black background with a sunburst finish. Beyond is a minute track with fluorescent dot indices. Two luminous dauphine hands indicate the hours and minutes. In addition, a second hand sweeps from the centre. Last but not least, there is a framed date window at 3 o’clock.
In the centre of the Master Control Memovox Timer is a grained disc in relief with polished numerals. The red hand indicates the number of hours remaining until the alarm sounds, thus enabling the timer function. In addition, the red triangular index simultaneously shows exactly when the alarm sounds and thus represents the classic variant for setting the function.
This Calibre Integrates The Striking Mechanism of The Master Control Memovox Timer
The movement is called the 956 and has been overhauled to make the sapphire crystal case back possible. Previously, the sound springs were attached to the case back. Now, however, they wind along the side of the case. This allows the wearer to see the hammers at work. The movement offers automatic winding with a skeletonised rotor made of pink gold. The power reserve is 44 hours. The movement showcases Côtes de Genève stripes on both the top and the rotor.
