Panerai Luminor Venticinque PAM02025: Celebrating 25 Years of Paneristi
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Paneristi community, Panerai has unveiled the Luminor Venticinque PAM02025. This limited edition (1.000 pieces) watch has just been presented at the P-Day event in Kuala Lumpur on October 4, 2024. The timepiece will then be available to the public in September 2025 with a pre-order period for members of the Paneristi community with over 30.000 members worldwide one month before its official launch. With a design inspired by the ‘Fiddy’ and a case made of ‘Brunito Steel’, the watch is a tribute to the long-standing relationship between Panerai and its fans.
Case
The case of the PAM02025 is made of Brunito Steel, a material that gives it an aged appearance reminiscent of gun barrels. This manual finishing process ensures that each piece is unique. With a diameter of 44 mm, the watch is large and embodies the robust design typical of Panerai. It also features a domed sapphire crystal that enhances the dial’s depth and resistance to scratches. The water resistance of 30 bar (about 300 meters) underscores the watch’s suitability for underwater use, a characteristic that has always been part of Panerai’s history.
Dial
The dial of the PAM02025 is a blue gradient sandwich design with beige Super-LumiNova X1. This not only ensures good readability in low-light conditions but also adds a modern touch to the watch. The golden pencil-style hands further enhance the elegance of the dial. A notable feature is the lever bridge mounted downwards, which refers to the historical military models and facilitates the operation of the crown-protecting device. The inscription ‘Paneristi’ on the lever bridge is a nod to the community being honored with this watch.
Movement
Inside the PAM02025 works the hand-wound P.6000 caliber. This movement has a power reserve of three days. The balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and is stabilized by a traversing balance bridge, ensuring precise timekeeping. The open case back allows a view of the movement, highlighting the brand’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
Strap
The watch comes with a vintage calf leather strap and a brunito trapezoidal buckle. Additionally, there is an extra blue rubber strap. The combination of materials emphasizes the sporty yet elegant character of the watch.
