TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon: Snow-White
At this year’s Watches & Wonders in Geneva, TAG Heuer unveiled a limited edition of the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon designed specifically for the European market. It features a snow-white dial with a panda layout and blue sub-dials. The highlight is the tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock.
Case
The case of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon is made of finely brushed and polished stainless steel, measuring 42 mm in diameter. This robust yet elegant execution is typical of the Carrera line. The domed box sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating ensures optimal readability. The water resistance is up to 100 meters.
Dial
On the snow-white dial, the blue sub-dials for 12-hour and 30-minute counters stand out. The ring around the dial is in the same color, completing the overall look. The fiery red chronograph hand matches the color of the Heuer logo, providing a visual contrast on the white dial. The applied indices are embedded in the ring and end in points with luminescent material.
Movement
The heart of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon is the Caliber TH20-09, developed under the direction of Carole Forestier-Kasapi. This movement offers a bidirectional winding mechanism, increased efficiency and precision, as well as a high degree of refinement. The power reserve is 65 hours. The sapphire crystal case back allows a view of the movement, which comes with a five-year warranty.
Strap
The strap is made of perforated blue calf leather and is secured with a finely brushed and polished stainless steel folding clasp with double safety pushers.
