SIHH 2019: Vacheron Constantin Excellence Platine Traditionnelle Manual-Winding
On the watch fair SIHH 2019 the Swiss brand Vacheron Constantin introduces a new, very exclusive model. In 2006 the brand already presented a collection, called ‘Excellence Platine’, which is dedicated to the high-quality material platinum. This collection, composed of exceptional models only issued in limited editions, now welcomes a new version of the Traditionnelle Manual-Winding.

The design of the new model Tradionnelle Manual-Winding (Ref. 82172/000P-B527) is fine as well as elegant. Beeing a full platinum version the model is an especially exclusive extension of the collection firstly presented in 2006, which may particularly please collectors. But, like previous models of this collection, the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Manual-Winding is limited. In total only 75 pieces, individually numbered, are available in the stores.

Except the hour markers and the hands made of white gold the entire watch – including the case, the dial, the crown and the strap buckle – is manufactured out of 950 platinum. Even the stitching of the dark blue alligator leather strap is created from interwoven platinum and silk thread.
On the watch’s sandburst dial slim hour-markers, a railway-type minute track and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock are applied. The ‘Pt950’ inscription between 4 and 5 o’clock discreetly indicates that this model belongs to the Collection Excellence Platine.
