Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Hodinkee Limited Edition
Hodinkee and Zenith have unveiled their third collaborative timepiece, the Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Limited Edition For Hodinkee. This watch reinterprets the modern chronograph with a triple calendar and moon phase, inspired by a rare prototype from 1970. With a stainless steel case, unique dial, and high-frequency movement, it blends vintage aesthetics with contemporary design.
Case
The case of the Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Limited Edition For Hodinkee measures 38mm in diameter and 14mm in height. It is made of stainless steel with both brushed and polished finishes. The lug-to-lug length is 46mm, and the lug width is 19mm. While the raised sapphire crystal ensures durability, it also evokes the look of vintage acrylic crystals. The water resistance is rated at 50 metres, allowing for light splashes but not suitable for diving. An exhibition caseback reveals the movement inside, complete with custom engravings marking its limited edition status.
Dial
The dial features a classic black background that enhances readability. However, the real highlight is the subdials made from Gibeon meteorite, adding a unique texture and history to the watch. These natural materials mean that no two watches are alike. Rhodium-plated hands and hour markers with Superluminova C1 ensure visibility in low light conditions. Notably, the chronograph hand is white instead of the usual gold, giving the dial a more modern look. The 4:30 date window is a signature of Zenith, further emphasising the brand’s identity.
Movement
At the heart of the Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Limited Edition For Hodinkee is the new El Primero Caliber 3610. This movement supports the triple calendar and moon phase complications while maintaining the high-frequency performance of the original El Primero. The chronograph seconds hand completes a full revolution every ten seconds, a feature that underscores the precision of the mechanism. Modern enhancements improve reliability and performance. The power reserve is 60 hours when fully wound.
Strap
The watch comes equipped with a stainless steel bracelet and an additional black leather strap with a pin buckle. The bracelet features a folding clasp for added security. The inclusion of a leather strap offers an alternative that complements the watch’s sporty yet elegant character.

The Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Limited Edition For Hodinkee is a limited edition of 200 pieces. The price is set at 13,500 USD. The first 75 pieces will be available through the Hodinkee Shop, while the remaining 125 pieces will be sold on Zenith’s e-commerce platform starting October 9th.
