W&W 2025: Bell & Ross Unveils The BR-03 Skeleton Trilogy
In a stunning testament to the art of skeletonisation, Bell & Ross is unveiling the BR-03 Skeleton trilogy, a collection that redefines modern horological design with its powerful aesthetic and intricate craftsmanship. Each of the three models – Black Ceramic, Grey Steel, and Lum Ceramic – embodies a unique interpretation of Bell & Ross’ skeletonisation expertise, making them a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Case
The case of each BR-03 Skeleton model is a masterpiece of design and material. At 41 mm in diameter, the cases are crafted from materials that reflect their distinct personalities—micro-blasted black ceramic for the Black Ceramic and Lum Ceramic versions, and satin-finished stainless steel for the Grey Steel model.
Each case is meticulously engineered to a thickness that complements its material: 10.60 mm for the Black Ceramic, 9.65 mm for the Grey Steel, and 11.25 mm for the Lum Ceramic, ensuring a robust yet elegant presence on the wrist. With a water resistance of 100 metres, these watches are as functional as they are alluring, suitable for both professional and casual settings.
BR-03 Skeleton dials
The dials of the BR-03 Skeleton watches are where Bell & Ross’ innovative spirit shines. The Black Ceramic model features a transparent fumé dial with black ‘Baignoire-style’ applique indexes and matt black skeletonised hour and minute hands filled with green-emitting white Super-LumiNova, offering a harmonious blend of transparency and readability.
The Grey Steel version stands out with its openworked and faceted rhodium-plated dial and rhodium-plated hands, reflecting light beautifully with its finely cut patterns and luminescent details.
The Lum Ceramic model takes luminescence to new heights with its Super-LumiNova C3 outlining the open-worked dial, creating a mesmerising glow reminiscent of a sci-fi spectacle. Each dial is a testament to the brand’s dedication to both form and function. All dials display the hours, minutes, and seconds.
Avant-garde movement
At the heart of each BR-03 Skeleton model is the skeletonised BR-CAL.328 caliber, a self-winding mechanical movement developed specifically for Bell & Ross. This movement offers a 54-hour power reserve and operates with precision and reliability, underscoring the technical prowess of the brand. The skeletonisation of the movement is not just decorative but a technical achievement, with upper bridges forming an X-shape that connects to the bezel screws, enhancing the architectural aesthetic of the watch.
Strap
The BR-03 Skeleton watches are equipped with two interchangeable straps, providing versatility for any occasion. Both the Black Ceramic and Lum Ceramic models come with a black rubber strap and an additional aviation-inspired black Velcro strap, secured by a micro-blasted black PVD-coated steel pin buckle. The Grey Steel version similarly includes a black rubber strap but with a polished and satin-finished steel pin buckle, as well as a black Velcro strap.
Price and availability of the BR-03 Skeleton
With the exception of the BR-03 Skeleton Black Ceramic, the BR-03 Skeleton collection is available as limited editions. The Grey Steel and Lum Ceramic models each limited to 250 pieces. These exclusive timepieces are available only at Bell & Ross boutiques and through the brand’s official website. Given their unique design and craftsmanship, these watches are expected to be highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
