The striking design of the new Patravi ScubaTec Black was inspired by the Black Manta Special Edition, that was introduced in summer 2019. It will be available starting from April 2020. Not only the design is inspired by the Black Manta Special Edition, the new sports watch is also dedicated to protecting the oceans and to the brand’s partnership with the Manta Trust charitable organization. Carl F. Bucherer has been cooperating with the Manta Trust for many years to help conserve manta rays and their habitats.
The ultra-light 44,6 mm titanium case as well as the unidirectional rotating bezel of the new Patravi ScubaTecBlack have a matte black DLC coating. The bezel is also equipped with scratch-resistant ceramic, a 60-minute scale, and luminous markers. The blackened indices and also hands are amply coated with Super-LumiNova. A date window is placed at 3 o’clock.
A screw-down crown and automatic helium release valve enable a water-resistance to 50 bar (500 meters). Inside runs the reliable automatic movement caliber CFB 1950.1 with a power reserve of 38 hours. Its precision is rewarded by a COSC certificate, whereas each watch is accompanied by an individual certification.
The new Patravi ScubaTec Black is worn on a black rubber strap with fabric made of 100% recycled plastic bottles removed from the ocean. A second version of this model is also available with a black rubber strap (without fabric). Price: 6.400 euros
